I love her. She's got this amazing deep voice, and writes beautiful songs. I'm listening to Fast Car right now and although it's kinda sad it still makes me feel all sort of chilled and zen-ish.
I also love Eva Cassidy (even though she never composed anything of her own) and Alannis Morissette. And I just discovered someone called Amy Mac Donald who sounds brilliant too. God Bless Youtube.
On a completely unrelated note, I just found a blog on msn about how to make your own deodorant. I'm planning on trying out the third one (the one without the cornstarch - I have no idea what cornstarch is in French, nor how to get hold of some) as soon as I get an empty spray bottle. I'll let you know how it works. Given that I have no particular BO problem it should be fine...
I'm becoming more and more eco-conscious. A French friend of mine started a forum for ecological beginners, the idea being to share our experiences and come up with new ideas to save the environment on a budget. The fact that saving the environment actually saves money is motivating enough (apart from the extra cost of organic produce of course, but the profit allows for that). Anyway, that means I might start posting a few eco-friendly recipes up here, for home-made beauty products etc. I love making these things anyway, it's much more fun than shopping for them. ^^
